Mercedes "MJ" Javid Explains Why She and Tommy Feight Are "Pretty Nervous" About Son Shams' Sleeping Habits
The Shahs of Sunset new parents have been supervising Shams' sleep in shifts.
Mercedes "MJ" Javid and husband Tommy Feight are taking every precaution as first-time parents. The Shahs of Sunset new mom, who gave birth to son Shams back in April, posted on Instagram on September 8 that she and Tommy have been supervising their son sleeping by watching him in shifts.
She explained, "Baby Shams Francis is starting to roll over from his back and onto his stomach. We are pretty nervous about leaving him unsupervised while he sleeps, so we do shifts together. This past week I’ve been pretty stressed out about some things, and I’m seeing my way through it. Thank you, [Tommy Feight] for holding me down, and letting Mom sleep most of the last few nights."
MJ also added for those curious about the photo of Shams and Tommy cuddled up together, "[Shams] has slept in his crib every single night since we brought him home from the hospital, with the exception of [Catalina Island]. We don’t co sleep."
Back in July, MJ shared that following her son's birth, she can no longer carry another child. She then revealed her desire to have "at least three more via surrogacy, like, all at the same time. Seriously," she told Us Weekly. However, MJ added, "Some of the times I think about baby No. 2, and then I say, ‘Shut up. Enjoy the moment. You’ll get there when you get there.’"
