We Have a Major Update on Monique and Chris Samuels' Marriage
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member just shared a moment with her husband we didn't see on TV.
Monique Samuels has always let fans in to even the most personal parts of her marriage with husband Chris Samuels on The Real Housewives of Potomac over the years, and the most recent episode is no exception. The couple had a very real conversation about their date nights and intimacy in the August 23 episode of the show. You can watch their discussion in the above clip.
"I just need a little effort while I’m handling everything else (as I pat myself on my back)," Monique tweeted during the episode.
She added in another tweet, "I know I can’t be the only one who has a husband who thinks pouring the wine is enough. PURSUE ME!! Plan a date and hunt me like you used to! Men take note!!"
Monique addressed one fan's concern that she wasn't "happy at home."
"News alert! All married couples have disagreements. Doesn’t mean you’re not 'happy,'" she explained on Twitter. "The only way you grow is to express how you feel. Y’all too busy idolizing these fake social media relationships that when you see a REAL conversation, you can’t handle it."
She also shared an update on how things are going for her and Chris these days.
"Months later and it’s still an issue. But I would rather this than other issues," Monique tweeted. "The beauty of marriage - choose someone you can be best friends with and who you don’t mind arguing with for the rest of your life."
Monique proved that romance is alive and well for her and Chris when she tweeted a photo taken during Karen Huger's return to Potomac party featured at the end of the episode.
"I love this!!! My babe @KARENHUGER just sent me this pic her photographer captured from her party!! My soulmate," Monique gushed in the tweet. "He gets on my last nerve sometimes, but I wouldn’t trade him for the world."
