Nene Leakes Remembers Working with Naya Rivera on Glee: "I Will Hold the Memories Close to My Heart"

Touching tributes have been pouring in for Naya Rivera following her recent passing at the age of 33.

The actor, best known for her portrayal of Santana Lopez in all six seasons of Glee, went missing on July 8. Her 4-year-old son was found alone in a boat after he and his mother went out on a rented pontoon on Lake Piru in California. Authorities were "confident" that a body found on July 13 was that of Rivera's, The Ventura County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, according to NBC News.

Nene Leakes is one of the many paying tribute to Rivera, sharing fond memories from their time working together on Glee in a post on Instagram on July 13. "I was praying for a miracle! I wanted you to come home to your baby so bad. This hurts!" Nene, who played Roz Washington on Glee beginning in Season 3, said of Rivera in a post that included several of her favorite moments of the two together. "I will hold the memories close to my heart and remember the good times, the laughs and the way we would cut up on set. Those were fun times! Please pray for Naya’s family."

Christian Siriano also remembered Rivera, not only for her sense of style but also for who she was as a person, in a post on Instagram on July 13. "Had the honor of dressing Naya a few times and she even attended one of my shows," he wrote. "Naya was such a beautiful light, so lovely and chic. She will forever be missed. Sending love to her family."

The Bravo's Project Runway mentor also shared in his Instagram Story photos of Rivera supporting him at one of his fashion shows and on the red carpet wearing "one of [his] favorite looks on [her]."
