Newlyweds' Rob and Ro Brann Welcome a Baby Girl

The #Newlyweds couple gave their first child a very sentimental name.

This season of Newlyweds: The First Year, Rob and Ro Brann were one of four couples we followed when their lives together began after their wedding. Now Rob and Ro have just entered a new chapter of their lives: parenthood.

The couple recently welcomed their first child into the world, daughter Arya London Brann. Their new bundle of joy was born on February 25 at 8:36 p.m., weighing 6 pounds and 12 ounces.

Arya was one of the potential baby names the couple dreamed about even while they were dating, they told The Daily Dish. And no, they weren't inspired by a certain popular fantasy TV series. "Of course, people have asked if her name is inspired by Game of Thrones!" Ro told The Daily Dish. "Admittedly, we're definitely fans, but we'd heard the name before the show and once we met her, we just knew it was the perfect fit!"

However, Arya's middle name, London, has a more personal meaning for the couple, nodding to Ro's British heritage and the life-changing trip she and Rob took to the city in an effort to reconnect with her estranged father this season of Newlyweds. "As we shared on the show, London is such a huge part of Ro's life and reminds us both how important family truly is," Ro said.

Rob and Ro's decision to move back to Tampa, Florida, as we also saw on Newlyweds, was motivated by family as well. "Our move to Florida was really propelled by Baby Arya's impending arrival. I recently shared on The Bloggerella just how difficult our pregnancy was, and we just couldn't think of a more important time to be close to our families," Ro told The Daily Dish. "Our first year of marriage really allowed us to work through a lot of question marks, and I think it was fate that we got pregnant right around our anniversary. We are more united than ever, and even if Florida is short-term, we're making plans together as a family!"

Just because Rob and Ro are focused on family right now doesn't mean they've given up on their career ambitions. "That old ideology of career versus family is becoming a thing of the past, thank God! Instead, we're a Millennial family who want to show our children how to chase their dreams and accomplish great things. You can totally have it all, maybe not all at the same time, but we're excited to embrace this next chapter," Ro told The Daily Dish. "People keep asking us to share even more of our lives (especially with Baby Arya's arrival), so I think we'll do just that. Look out for details on where the The Branns are heading next!"

But for now, the couple seem to be enjoying parenthood together. "This has been a tag team 'no sleep' effort," Ro said. "When people say parenthood opens up a whole new level to sleep deprivation... They. Aren't. Lying. Laughing through the delirious moments has helped, and as a result, this poor kid already has quite the iPhone modeling portfolio started!"

So will Rob and Ro allow Arya to watch their time on Newlyweds anytime soon? "Um, how about the day after never?" Ro joked. "Just kidding! When she's old enough, we look forward to showing her how our crazy/beautiful life began before she came along, but also just how much her parents have grown. We really love and respect each other, and Arya is that unconditional love, come to fruition."

Rob and Ro had their fair share of ups and downs this season, but now that this duo has become a trio, we can only imagine that they're on cloud nine.
