Nick Lachey Implies Kim Kardashian Used Him When They Went on a Date
Nick Lachey spilled about his brief fling with the KUWTK star on Watch What Happens Live.
Any time Nick Lachey is a guest in the Bravo Clubhouse, it's a pretty safe bet that some tea will be spilled. His appearance on the October 31 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen was no exception: He had piping hot cups to tip about his former boy band, 98 Degrees, how he lived down his Newlyweds reality show with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, and the time that he went out on a movie date with Kim Kardashian in her pre-supernova era.
In fact, when discussing the Keeping up with the Kardashians mom of four, Lachey seemed to imply she went on the date in the hope that a little bit of his fame might rub off on her. A caller asked if Nick ever heard from his "ex Kim Kardashian" the day that he and Kelly Ripa dressed up as Kris Humphries (on stilts) and Kim the day that they announced their split.
"To say that she's my ex is a bit of a liberal use of the term. We went on one date together," he replied (watch the video above), adding that he never heard from her about the Halloween costume.
"What was the date you went on?" Andy asked.
"We went and saw Da Vinci Code together," Nick answered.
"Did she like it?" Andy questioned him.
"She left about halfway through and went to the restroom and, shockingly, there were 25 paparazzi when we left the theater. So I think there were other things in play on our little rendezvous," Nick said.
Andy cheekily asked if Nick and Kim had a little "nightcap" after the movie.
"It was a matinee, Andy," Nick clarified.
