Padma Lakshmi Reveals Whether a Guest Judge Has Ever Slid into Her DMs

Padma Lakshmi is opening up about one of the more awkward interactions she’s had with a guest judge during her tenure on Bravo's Top Chef. During her latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen @ Home, the TV host revealed that a celebrity judge once slid into her DMs after making an appearance on the show — although it didn’t exactly go well.

As captured in the clip above, Padma didn’t hesitate to reveal whether a contestant has ever tried to hit her up after filming the reality competition series. “No, but a guest judge has,” she admitted.  

Though she didn’t name the specific judge in question, the Top Chef host did go on to confirm that the direct message didn’t ever lead to any love connection — or even a date. “No, because he’s not interesting, and I wasn’t interested,” she said, laughing. Ouch!

While Padma clearly no regrets about not following up on that DM, she admitted that there is one thing from her time on the show that she has second-guessed: her outfits! When asked if she wishes she could take back any of the fashion looks she’s worn on the show, she said, “Many, many, many.”
