Why Craig Conover Is “Nervous” About His Relationship with Paige DeSorbo on Winter House
In a Winter House preview, Craig wonders if he will push Paige away after being “fired up” early on in the vacation.
The temperature is below freezing in Stowe, Vermont, for the Winter House cast members, but is Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s relationship also cooling off? Since the couple arrived at the house for the two-week vacation, Craig hasn’t shied away from expressing his opinions — even if his words tend to upset Paige’s closest pals.
Paige initially didn’t want to tell Craig that she disagreed with some of his behavior. However, in a preview clip for the November 10 episode of Winter House, which you can watch above, she tells bestie Amanda Batula about her concerns while the cast is out on the mountain for a day of skiing and snowboarding.
“I just don’t want him to ostracize people because he has such a big ego,” Paige shares with Amanda. “Like, just chill out for five seconds.”
Before the two resume skiing, they agree that the guys in the house are “just annoying.”
Later that night, when the cast is at Tom Sandoval’s Euphoria-themed party, Craig and Paige finally talk it out.
“I was a little fired up the first few days,” Craig admits, though he says he’s starting to chill out. Paige says it’s hard for her when her boyfriend is “upset” because she “take[s] his energy.”
She also tells the Sewing Down South founder that it’s difficult when he disagrees with one of their friends.
“I don’t like feeling like I’m involved in a confrontation that I personally am not involved in. I feel like when you become a couple, you automatically become an extension of the other person,” Paige adds. “I love the f--k out of you, so I don’t ever want to feel on edge. Because when you’re comfortable, I immediately get comfortable.”
In an interview, Craig recognizes that he’s lucky Paige didn’t say anything to him when he was acting out early on in the trip.
“Paige patiently sat through days and days of me fighting with her friends and never said a single thing to me,” the Southern Charm-er says.
He also recognizes that the fashionista may not be as forgiving in the future. “I’m just relieved, but I’m also nervous, because I don’t know how many more of these chances I’m going to get,” he continues in his confessional.
Fans will have to tune in to find out if Craig will end up needing another chance from his girlfriend.
