Patricia Altschul Dreams of This Royal Wearing One of Her Caftans
The #SouthernCharm grand dame also hopes to dress a Real Housewife one day.
Now that Patricia Altschul has launched her very own caftan line, the Southern Charm grand dame hopes to see a couple of fellow queens wear her glamorous designs in the future. And Patricia is definitely dreaming big when it comes to her future clientele.
Patricia recently told PEOPLE that she'd love to see Queen Elizabeth II rock one of her caftans decked out in dogs. And it makes sense — the British monarch does love her some corgis, after all. “Wouldn’t that be fun to see her [in one of my designs]?” Patricia said, before acknowledging, “Somehow I don’t think she’s the caftan type — probably a scarf in Scotland.”
Patricia said she would also be honored to have a fellow Bravoleb and dog lover rock her designs. “The one that I would love to have is Lisa Vanderpump because, like her, I love animals. I admire what she does,” she said. “When I go to L.A., I think I’m going to talk to her. Maybe she’d like to carry some of my pet [fashion] — and I could donate, also.”
Patricia previously told Town & Country that she was initially inspired to create her line of custom pet caftans after she and a friend noticed the lack of pooches in designs, especially ones where you could feature your own pup. Now Patricia's Couture by Sherina is up and running. "I'm supposed to be retired but frankly I've never worked so hard," Patricia told Town & Country.
