Patricia Altschul's Puppy Is Obsessed with Just One of Her 4 Other Dogs
The Southern Charm matriarch's menagerie has an overly curious new addition.
Patricia Altschul's brand new puppy, an impossibly cute and tiny white Pomeranian named Peaches, has four other dogs to play with at the Southern Charm matriarch's sprawling Charleston estate, which is called the Isaac Jenkins Mikell House. But Peaches is totally obsessed with just one of them.
Peaches first arrived at Patricia's house on January 26 via her vet after returning from a trip to New York City, where she honored her late best friend, designer and "Prince of Chintz" Mario Buatta (who designed her home), at a luncheon for his retrospective exhibit at Sotheby's.
"I just got home from NY and who should appear with a puppy but Dr. Berger with a 4 month old Pom. One man’s allergy is another woman’s gain," Patricia wrote as a caption to an Instagram post of Dr. Berger and Peaches, adding an "I'm too old for this" hashtag. Seriously though, once you actually see Peaches, you'll understand why there's no way Patricia could have said no to adopting her.
Before we get to her, we'd like you to meet Patricia's other pooches: Chauncey, the Pug; Siegfreid and Roy, the Pomeranians; and Monty, the Lagotto Romagnolo (who actually belongs to her son, Whitney Sudler Smith).
And heeeeere's Peaches! Clearly, you get it now.
So, which dog is Peaches' early favorite? Patricia says it's Chauncey the Pug, paws down.
