Being a Real Housewife comes with some pretty great perks. You get to twirl to your own tagline, hang with a glamorous crew of ladies, and not to mention, go on at least one incredible girls' trip. Plus, there's a good chance you'll be a guest in the Bravo Clubhouse next to an A-lister. But besides what fans see as they follow the ladies' lives week after week, there's apparently much more where that came from.
In a recent sit-down, The Real Housewives of Orange County pal Kelly Dodd told The Daily Dish podcast hosts, Rachael Roberts and Megan Segura, just how sweet it is to be a Real Housewife. Kelly revealed, "You get to meet really, really rad people. It just opens up opportunities and doors and you get to travel and just see neat places. There’s a lot of perks.”
But what are those perks exactly? Well, apparently star treatment wherever you go. "Getting into Coldplay concerts, getting into a bar, getting into restaurants … those perks are, like, so rad." (Note to selves: Kelly loves the word rad.)
One instance stuck out to the OC 'Wife — and to the hosts. Apparently, one time recently, Kelly was sitting at a bar and got maybe the most insane drink we've ever heard of sent over to her. "I just had this guy who lives in California, he bought me a $600 King Louis scotch or whiskey or whatever it was." Um, sorry? $600 for a drink?! As if we already didn't want to be a Real Housewife ... sign us up!
But, it's not all whiskey and concerts, Kelly explained. While all of these extras sound really freakin' fabulous, being a Real Housewife isn't always so easy. "But with the good, comes the bad. Pick your poison." And with the RHOC Season 12 reunion coming up, we can only imagine what she means...
Listen to the full interview with Kelly above and be sure to tune into the RHOC Part 1 reunion on Monday, November 20 at 9/8c.
