PHOTO: Kathy Wakile Breaks Ground on New Home
The Cannoli Queen reveals plans for her dream house.
On the Season 5 finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it was revealed that Kathy Wakile had started building her dream home.
"Kathy decided she's ready for a new kitchen," read her update at the end of the show. "She's taking the lead in design while [her husband] Rich stays out of the way."
Kathy took to Twitter the same day the finale aired to confirm the news—and share a few snapshots of her big project: "Broke ground this week! [My husband Rich] decided I needed another kitchen so we're building," she tweeted, along with photos of heavy construction equipment digging and architectural plans splayed out on a table.
With the new house and her other big project—her first cookbook, Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts—75 Recipes That Keep Life Real Sweet—it looks like Kathy's going to have one busy hiatus.
