Here's Why Porsha Williams Thinks Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas' Divorce Is "Peculiar"

Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas have definitely kept their divorce proceedings amicable. The Real Housewives of Atlanta exes have remained tight and still hang out — and have even vacationed together — despite their decision to end their marriage. And that choice to stay in each other's lives has Porsha Williams scratching her head.

"It's peculiar because her and Peter are deciding to remain close friends immediately right after the divorce," the RHOA radio host told The Daily Dish, adding that while she doesn't get it, she sees how it's benefited Cynthia. "And so I think that's kind of helping her get through it. So my advice to her was just, 'Concentrate on Cynthia. Do what you need to do for yourself and your daughter.' And it's hard to keep a close friendship with some who you love that much."

Porsha knows what it's like to end a marriage. She divorced former football pro, Kordell Stewart, back in 2013. And she says she's spoken a bit with Cynthia about her own divorce in the wake of the former model's separation from the restaurant and bar owner.

"I'm just praying from afar. You know we're not that close. We did have a moment throughout the season where I did talk to her about divorce and shared some of what I went through to kind of help her," Porsha recalled. "But I just pray for her. And to me she looks like she's doing well. She looks like she's completely over it. She's excited to turn 50, so I don't think shes worried about anything."
