Here’s Why Porsha Williams Is Feeling “On Top of the World"

Porsha Williams is keeping pretty busy these days! The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha Family Matters cast member has been making major moves — from actually moving out of her Duluth home to live in a new Atlanta abode with her fiancé, Simon Guobadia, to signing with a talent agency earlier this year. Recently, Porsha touched down in New York City and took to Instagram to reveal some more big news.

"Wow, I feel like I’m on top of the world with the release of my first memoir [The Pursuit Of Porsha]," Porsha wrote in the caption of her November 30 post, alongside a series of stunning photos posing with her new book at the Empire State Building. She added, "Thank you God for this moment!! Here at the Empire State Building for my private tour on their 90th Anniversary is just magical!"

In addition to her Empire State Building adventure, Porsha also held a book signing while in New York City as part of her book tour promotion, which will include stops in several cities across the U.S. She took to Instagram to share a fun moment meeting some of her fans. "I’m loving meeting my tribe on tour!!" she wrote. "NYC [and] NJ I love you!"

As Porsha had previously announced, her first book, The Pursuit of Porsha, is a memoir that spans a number of significant moments and issues that have shaped her into becoming the empowered woman, activist, and mother that she is today.

"Putting yourself out there in these times can be both a blessing and curse. I want to share the real me and my story here, including both my trials as well as my many blessings," she had said last year in a statement to PEOPLE. "I am more than a soundbite or a headline or a rumor. I'm a strong Black woman who has triumphed over adversity and owned every single one of my mistakes. My story is a journey of passion, faith, and discovery."
