Porsha Used This Genius Hack to Get PJ to Clean Up Her Toys
The RHOA mom turned a simple chore into a race-against-the-clock game.
No matter how much parents demand, beg, or even bribe, getting kids to clean up after themselves can sometimes be a struggle. However, it appears Porsha Williams has found a simple yet clever solution for such a problem: Turn the chore into a game.
Porsha shares a simple cleanup game for PJ
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum demonstrated the hack in a video posted to her daughter’s Instagram page. The footage shows 4-year-old Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley rushing to pick up her toys in the living room as Porsha provides sports-like commentary.
“She sees the ones under the chair! Could she possibly get every single one?” the Atlanta mom was heard saying in the July 31 video. “She’s using her foot! Uh-oh! Success, success! Whoa! Is she gonna get the ones under her desk? I don’t know. We’ll see… I don’t think can get those. It’s not possible… She’s moving the desk! She’s moving the desk! Guys, I think she’s gonna do it!”
Porsha’s mom, Diane Williams, appeared in the clip and also shared a few words of encouragement: “She’s a human vacuum!” the grandma said about PJ. “Down to the wire.”
PJ’s Precious Victory Speech
Porsha proceeded to count down from 10, but she took her time so that PJ could successfully beat the clock. After 2 minutes, the little girl came out victorious.
“She did it! Wow. Can you believe it?” Porsha said. “Go, PJ! Give me a high-five! Good job.”
Porsha then asked her daughter if she’d like to give a victory speech. And, of course, PJ obliged.
“Thank you, everyone, for letting me do it!” she said.
“Now do it again,” Porsha quipped. “Just playin’.”
Porsha’s Co-Parenting Relationship
Porsha shares PJ with her ex-fiancé Dennis McKinley. The former couple started dating in 2018 and called it quits in 2020, about two years before Porsha married entrepreneur Simon Guobadia. Although Porsha and Dennis’ romance didn’t last, they have managed to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship. The mom proved this back in June when she shared a heartfelt message for Dennis in honor of Father’s Day. The post included adorable photos and videos of the dad and daughter spending time together.
“Happy Father’s Day to [Dennis]!” she captioned the carousel. “Your relationship with pooh bear is so beautiful! Pilar is a true daddy’s girl and I love it!”
