Porsha Williams on Daughter Pilar's Future: "You’re Going to Do Great Things"
The RHOA mom and activist has big dreams for her little girl.
Since welcoming their daughter Pilar Jhena last March, Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley have shared plenty of her special milestone moments on social media. Whether celebrating their first vacation or her first birthday, we can always count on The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom to deliver some truly adorable family photos — and a recent photo of Pilar is no exception, except this one holds new meaning.
Recently, Porsha took to Instagram to share the sweetest photo of little PJ looking too cute for words. But, it's the caption that really speaks for this moment for the RHOA family: “I pray for a better future for you baby! You’re going to do great things I can feel it!” Porsha wrote alongside the photo.
The photo holds special meaning as of late. Porsha has been a vocal activist of the Black Lives Matter movement. She's been stepping out at protests, and Dennis has also been protesting and providing bail and legal assistance to protesters.
Porsha has mentioned how becoming a mom made her step into the role of social activist fighting for justice.
"I really, truly am fighting this fight for my daughter's future and the people in my family, the young people in my family — this is not what we want to give them. This was given to us. This was given to us, this was put on us, not by our Black people, but by the oppressors," she shared on WWHL recently. "But if we can all come together now, possibly she can live and have a better life than what we're dealing with now."
