Gizelle Bryant Shares How She Reacted to Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia's Engagement
The RHOP cast member opened up about the RHOA cast member's romance, sharing some sweet, new details.
Porsha WIlliams has not been shy in keeping fans up-to-date about her relationship with Simon Guobadia just a couple months after they confirmed their engagement. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and her fiancé have shared all sorts of moments from their romance, including family trips and lavish parties. And now we're learning a bit more about the man who stole Porsha's heart from her pal, The Real Housewives of Potomac's Gizelle Bryant.
"And I met him; he's amazing!" Gizelle said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday (July 18) (clip above). "I'm looking for a Simon; he's amazing."
Gizelle then shared exactly how she reacted to their engagement. "So, but, I was shocked because I didn't know that it was gonna happen," Gizelle noted about the couple's quick courtship. However, in the end, Gizelle just has this message for her friend and Bravo's Chat Room co-host: "I tell Porsha to be happy, and she is beyond happy"

Simon is also pretty open when it comes to spilling his feelings for Porsha on Instagram in the form of sweet captions. For instance, a recent post about Porsha highlights all her achievements.
"My respect for this woman is on a whole different level. Not just because [Porsha] makes me happy and makes me a priority, but also looks out for so many others like her family, employees and business partners - much of it goes unrecognized. They all quietly hold her in very high regard," he wrote. "What her family exemplifies for me and many is Black excellence. Her activism and that of the Williams family is well documented in the civil rights movement, and the contributions the family continues to make in our community to this day is felt by families throughout the southeast of the United States @4hosea I am very proud of Porsha’s growth, her resolve and her love for community that I hope one day we all can celebrate and be proud of as a people."
Porsha commented back, "Feels good to be to be [sic] loved by you."
On WWHL this past Sunday, Gizelle shared big news about Porsha and herself when she confirmed that Bravo's Chat Room returns on Monday, August 16 airing five nights a week for a two-week period.
