Prince George Adorably Crashes His Parents' Meeting with the Obamas — in Pajamas
Who knew diplomacy could be so cute and cozy?
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama may have been in London to visit the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Friday, but Prince George totally stole the spotlight when he showed up in his pajamas, as this photo from Kensington Palace's official Twitter account shows.
Yes, that's right. Prince George shook the hand of the Leader of the Free World in a pair of light blue gingham pajamas, a white robe with his first name embroidered on it, and slippers. Bow down, indeed.
George, who turns 3 in July, was allowed to stay up for a few extra minutes past his bedtime to greet the president and the First Lady, although his 1-year-old sister Charlotte was already asleep when the couple arrived, a palace source told PEOPLE.
Photos from the official Kensington Palace Twitter account also show George playing around on a rocking horse that the Obamas gifted to him when he was born. George had also been playing with another gift from the Obamas: a plush dog that looks just like their dog Bo, according to ABC News.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry greeted President Obama and the First Lady on a rainy Friday evening after they had lunch with Queen Elizabeth II, who celebrated her 90th birthday Thursday, at Windsor Castle.
Clearly, George wasn't the only one serving up some fierce fashion. Style icons Kate and Michelle also looked incredibly chic in their ensembles.
This isn't the only time George has killed us with his cuteness this week. He also melted our hearts in this photo of himself, the Queen, William, and Prince Charles released in honor of his grandma's 90th birthday.
We're pretty sure we're going to need the whole weekend to recover.
