David Parnes and James Harris on Prince Harry's New Relationship with Meghan Markle: "He's the Dude"

Prince Harry has set the world abuzz after it was confirmed that he's dating American actress Meghan Markle earlier this week. We'll have to wait and see what the future holds for these lovebirds, but two of Bravo's resident Brits, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles' David Parnes and James Harris, are all for this new relationship. When asked whether they approve of Prince Harry's new girlfriend, James told the Daily Dish, "We do. We don't know how the queen feels about it. But we do for sure." He added, "They accepted Kate Middleton [who was considered a "commoner" before she married Prince William], so why not accept a nice girl from the United States?" 

David and James, who are both originally from London but are now American citizens, said that Prince Harry should follow his heart and not his status when it comes to his relationships. "I think it's cool. Listen, if he's happy, that is really it. The rest of it, look, he could be forced into an unhappy relationship or an unhappy marriage because they're checking the boxes. But that's not healthy, in my opinion," David explained. "The fact that he's found someone he loves and hopefully they'll be together and they'll be happy, I think I'm all for that." 

All in all, David and James said they're just big fans of Prince Harry, who they consider to be "very cool." James even remembers spotting him at the London nightclub, Boujis, which is owned by Matt Hermer, the husband of Ladies of London star Marissa Hermer. "It's awesome," James said about Prince Harry's new girlfriend. "He's the dude."

David said he appreciates how down-to-earth Prince Harry seems."He's not like the kind of stiff stereotype," David added. "And that's actually quite endearing to see someone so human in such a privileged and responsible position, being a royal." 

Now that Prince William is married with two children, David and James think Prince Harry could be settling down soon as well. "He's starting to follow in his brother's footsteps. His brother's got two kids," James said. 

David added, "A bit like James has two kids. I'm trying to catch up." 

They may not technically be royal, but James and David are basically our Prince William and Prince Harry, right? Watch the agents hold court on MDLLA, below.
