Prince William and Prince Harry Left Their Ladies at Home For a Boys' Night With BB-8
The royals had an intergalactic evening at the European premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Princes William and Harry left their respective loves Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle behind on December 12 as they attended the European premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Decked out in tuxes befitting the fanciest black-tie event in the galaxy, the royal pair walked the red carpet at Royal Albert Hall — and ran into some Star Wars pals along the way.
Stormtroopers silently guarded the carpet as the princes walked by. Then, the rolling robot BB-8 paid respect to the brothers with a bow.
Mind you, this isnt the first time William and Harry have crossed paths with the round 'bot. Back in April 2016, the pair stopped by the set of the latest Star Wars to honor the British talent that participated in making the hotly anticipated film.
At Tuesday's premiere, the royal pair again chatted up stars of the film, and met with John Boyega, Mark Hamill, and Daisy Ridley.
And both brothers left the event with a fitting keepsake: each got his own Startrooper helmet.
The red carpet event benefitted The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, so it's only fitting that the princes were in attendance.
Plus, who could resist another chance to interact with BB-8?
