And now he's opening up about his sweet proposal and engagement to Project Runway mentor Christian Siriano in the Project Runway After Show (above).

"Oh my god, I'm so happy," he shared. "My partner is the complete opposite of me. He loves drama and show and all this. I actually hate attention."

From there, Sergio dished about how appearing on Project Runway this season has helped him grow in all ways.

"I've learned to be a little more vulnerable throughout this whole process. I don't know, this is not a normal thing — going through this whole process. I feel like I've not only evolved as a person, but as a designer," he said. "So I'm very thankful."

After finishing in the Top 4 during Season 18 of Project Runway and now that he's ready to start the next chapter in his personal life, Sergio revealed what he's looking forward to in his career.

"I just want to help the world as much as I can and maybe change the narrative of success," he said. "Let's not make money the most driving factor 'cause it's going to be the demise of humanity, pretty much."
