This Is Exactly What You Can Expect from the Project Runway Season 18 Finale
Project Runway judge Elaine Welteroth opens up about what's still to come.
As a judge on Project Runway, Elaine Welteroth has seen the Season 18 designers grow and hone in on their skills, all the way to the final runway show. So, when she visited LIVE with Kelly and Ryan earlier this week (before Episode 13 aired), the creative entrepreneur revealed some juicy info about the upcoming finale.
She told hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, "So, we're down to the final four. None of them are slackers. This is actually the most competitive top four I think I've seen in the series. They're all so talented. What can I tell you without giving any spoiler alerts?"
Kelly joked, "Well, who wins?"
Luckily, the Project Runway judge had her lips sealed on that one.
Careful not to give too much away, Elaine continued, "So, they've had five months to work on their final collection — and they've all worked really, really hard and you can tell. They get to present in New York Fashion Week."
Then, she shared her true feelings about the final runway.
"It is the most... like New York Fashion Week show I've ever seen from Project Runway," Elaine explained, adding, "It was that elevated. The caliber was that strong and the runway was so inclusive!"
She even teased the finale's guest judge, saying, "They were nearly in tears. Just so incredibly inspired."
Who could it be? We'll just have to wait and see during the final runway showdown next Thursday at 9/8c.
