It's Time to Address the Elephant in the Room!

Rumors of an affair between Quad Webb and the then-husband of Mariah Huq's sister Lake first came up during the Married to Medicine Season 6 reunion. Quad has always denied the allegations, and now she is shedding new light on the situation.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Quad set the record straight on the rumors during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on December 15. "I'm gonna set the lies straight with the truth, right, Andy? So I really hate to do this because I'm now putting someone else into the sauce. But let me just say this: I have never been around that gentleman unless it was around the family, and I mean the family, meaning the sister and also my ex-best friend," Quad clarified. "The truth of the matter is I had never had any dealings with him."

The cookbook author also brought up some allegations about how Lake's marriage ended. "She divorced him when he went to jail for wire fraud. So when he went to jail for wire fraud, she left him right where he was standing, and that was in jail," she said. "And that's the final, that's it."

Quad said that she was happy to finally close the book on these rumors, noting that Mariah and her family members were all in her wedding to Dr. Gregory Lunceford in 2012 after this incident was alleged to have occurred. "And here's the deal: This is not something that I wanted to put out there, but I am so sick and tired of people lying on me. I have no other choice," Quad said. "I have to set the record straight on the truth."

Quad and Lake came face-to-face in the December 15 episode of Married to Medicine (clip above). "Quad and I were friends prior to everybody in this group," Lake said in the episode. "We have our own issues that none of you guys are privy to."

Mariah said that she believed the rumors about Quad and her brother-in-law during her appearance on WWHL in September. "You know what, that's one of those things where as a woman, if you've ever been in a marriage, that's not something you ever want to share with anybody, and a wife typically doesn't lie about something like that," she explained. "So when my sister said that to me, it was heartbreaking, but I accepted it and I did what I could do best, which was confront it."

Mariah will find herself in the middle of some more drama during the Married to Medicine Season 7 finale on December 22 at 9/8c. Watch a preview below, and catch up on this season through the Bravo app.
