Rachel Zoe Takes New York

How Manhattan’s getting the Mrs. Berman treatment.

By Lauren Metz

Rachel Zoe is cheating on L.A. "To me, hair should be considered an accessory — it changes by event, season, mood. With DreamDry, we are creating a place where women can go to ensure that their hair is consistently as stylish and chic as they are," the fashionable force behind The Rachel Zoe Project tells People about her latest venture, a salon in NYC’s Flatiron neighborhood.

Although Camp Zoe is a red-eye away, Rachel -- who’s working in stylish cahoots with former CAA agent Robin Moraetes -- chose the location because "New York is my home and the fashion capital of the world — we couldn’t imagine a better place to put our first DreamDry salon. But we’re not stopping here."

DreamDry won’t open its doors until later this year, so The Zoe Report is offering their own beauty fix. "We got in touch with a few of the runway’s most noted beauties to find out which products they swear by while off the catwalk. We don’t know about you, but we’re regarding their answers as blueprints for achieving our own MOD (model off-duty) looks this fall."

Maybe this obsession will become a DreamDry fave. "My one must-have item is L’Oreal Elnett hairspray. I can pretty much make [do] with any old shampoo or conditioner (and I often do in random hotels around the world) as long as I have a bottle of Elnett to finish the job," raves model Coco Rocha to TZR.
