Ramona Singer Made a Major Announcement Regarding Her Lyme Disease
The RHONY cast member was so excited to share this news.
In March, Ramona Singer announced that she had been diagnosed with Lyme disease. The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur explained that she felt sick around Valentine's Day and visited a specialist, who detected her condition. Although Ramona made a lot of changes in her life to treat the disease, she now has some great news to share about where she stands now health-wise.
In an interview with DailyMailTV, Ramona revealed that she no longer has Lyme disease!
During the interview, Ramona explained, "We have fabulous news," adding, "My Lyme is gone. I don't have chronic Lyme, my immune system is strong again."
The RHONY cast member had her new doctors to thank for her recovery, Dr. Daryl Gioffre and Dr. Bernard Schayes. She also shared how much her health has improved since she began self-quarantine in Boca Raton, Florida. Ramona shared, "I feel strong and I'm not tired, and that's the best thing. I mean, I love having my energy," adding, "I'm back to walking two miles a day. I can run a mile plus I can do a class, plus I can lift my weights."
She emphasized how important yearly check-ups are and that someone can look completely healthy on the outside without knowing what's "simmering inside." We're glad to hear that Ramona is exercising and getting her energy levels up again.
So, what is Ramona looking forward to now that her Lyme disease is gone?
"I can drink my wine again, which is very important when you're quarantining," Ramona said.
