Kelly Dodd is single and ready to mingle since her split from Michael Dodd. And dating is definitely on the brain for this SoCal mom, as we're seeing in the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which kicked off this week. "What can I say? Divorce looks good on me!" Kelly also shared in her Bravotv.com blog following the Season 13 premiere. "Since I began going through my divorce, I have felt truly liberated and like a much happier, more positive version of myself."
However, Vicki Gunvalson isn't quite sure Kelly is as over her ex as she's leading folks to believe (teased a bit in the clip above) since Vicki says she found it a lot easier to emotionally move on from Donn Gunvalson following their split.
"I was kinda like, 'You divorced your husband, and you didn't want him, so why do you have any emotions?'" Vicki shared with TooFab recently. "It made me realize that maybe she's still in love with him. I didn't have those emotions when I divorced Donn. When Donn started dating people I knew, I had zero emotions. I was like, I want the best for him. If he wants to date a friend of mine, go for it. I didn't feel like, 'Oh, because I divorced you, you can't be with anybody else.' So it made me really realize that I think Kelly's got stronger feelings for Michael than she wants to really say."
Kelly and Michael confirmed their split last September and it was finalized in February. Together they have a daughter, Jolie. Kelly shared an update on how she's doing in the wake of their split in her cast blog, writing, "She's coping really well with everything that's gone on, and I couldn't be more proud of her maturity. We raised a good kid!"
Below, Kelly reflects more on what her marriage to Michael was like.
