Reza Farahan Reviews Housewives Books
The Shahs of Sunset star has some searing critiques for Phaedra, Brandi and Caroline.
Reza Farahan is a discerning man of wealth and taste. That's especially true when it comes to literature. And with a handful of Housewives getting into the book publishing game, the Shahs of Sunset star is sharing his opinions on the writing talents of Brandi Glanville, Phaedra Parks and Caroline Manzo! He offered his thoughts to OK! Magazine.
Phaedra’s book, Secrets of the Southern Belle: How to Be Nice, Work Hard, Look Pretty, Have Fun and Never Have an Off Moment, was up first on the Reza Scale. "Any book that is reddish-pink is going to appeal to me," he says. "Not necessarily because I’m gay, but because...I’m gay." He’s a fan of the subtitle, too: "How could you not love the book?," he says. "This is a very informative book, whether you live in the South or not." Reza’s final word on Phaedra’s prose? 8/10.
As much as Reza is a fan of Brandi—"How can you not love this bitch?"—he's a bit more critical of Drinking and Tweeting. "On the back she’s holding the evidence, a.k.a. Fat Pig Juice—the wine," he says. "Based off the pictures alone, I would give this a 7." (We’re dying to hear what Reza thinks of Brandi’s latest book, Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media is Ruining Romance.)
Finally, Reza's gave his critique on "Don Caroline's" opus, Let Me Tell You Something. He goes right for the dirt, flipping to the pages that detail her falling out with her sister, Caroline, and he admires the photos she’s included in the process. The pretty pictures didn’t distract him too much, though, and he gave Mama Manzo a "solid 6."
What do you think of Reza’s fledgling career as a book reviewer? Do you agree with his take on the Housewives books? Let us know in the comments.
