Apollo Nida’s Birthday Message to Fiancée Sherien Almufti May Leave You in Tears
RHOA alum Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband returned to Instagram to celebrate his fiancée’s special day.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta isn’t the only place Apollo Nida returned to recently. After not posting on Instagram for five months, he made his comeback for a very special reason: to celebrate the birthday of his longtime fiancée, Sherien Almufti, with a “very special, loving and warm” message.
“Baby you are so amazing and it has been a wonderful journey seeing you grow and develop into the [superstar] that you have become,” Apollo wrote to “the one and only” Sherien on September 7, adding a “Virgo season” hashtag. “I love you and thanks for all the love and support that you give me. May GOD bless you with many more wonderful days to come. Enjoy your day.”
Just more than a week earlier, Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband also appeared on RHOA’s August 28 episode. Catching up with Shereé Whitfield, Apollo shared some of his experiences from prison while offering advice about her relationship with Tyrone. Meanwhile, the She by Shereé founder asked him to walk in her brand’s upcoming fashion show, which he did in the RHOA Season 14 finale that aired on September 4.
During a joint appearance with fellow cast member Kenya Moore on The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show, Shereé explained that she and Apollo have been “good friends” ever since they took the same fitness certification class sometime around 2010. Though she wasn’t sure if Apollo and Sherien had married yet, she told Kenya they were still together and had recently spent time with her at Chateau Shereé.
Phaedra, for her part, doesn’t have any hard feelings about her ex’s RHOA cameo, as she focuses on co-parenting their sons, Ayden and Dylan. “Him hanging out with Shereé… Honey, if it makes him some money, he can buy these children some shoes and some Chick-fil-A,” Phaedra said during the June 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Hang out with Shereé, hang out with whoever you need to hang out with to get a check. Bring it to Mama.”
