Kandi Burruss Shares How Mama Joyce Reacted to the Bolo Drama: "She Was Trippin'"
The iconic RHOA grandmother had some thoughts about the dungeon-themed evening.
When it came time for Kandi Burruss to throw bride-to-be Cynthia Bailey a dungeon-themed bachelorette party of epic proportions, she did not disappoint. In fact, The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies are still talking about the event, including what may or may not have gone down with performer Michael “Bolo” Bolwaire. For those of us who weren’t actually at the party to see the details of the evening, a number of questions still remain, including: what does Mama Joyce Jones think of it all?
During an April 11 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kandi was asked to share what her mother thought of that episode. “You know what? Well first of all, she thought that was crazy, of course. But she didn’t get into it. You know, she wanted to know tea. But she didn’t get all up into it. She was trippin’ that Kenya was telling everything.”
In addition to this fun little tidbit, we recently learned about a whole other side of Mama Joyce when Kandi’s daughter, Riley Burruss, chatted about her iconic grandmother in an interview with Bravo Insider. “I think it’s definitely different for people at home seeing her on TV, and then me just [being] there. Whenever there’s stuff about her on TV, when she has an argument or something, I just find that really funny. I don’t really take it seriously,” Riley explained.
