The ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta know how to rally together for a good cause. Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam were among the friends and family who showed up to assist Kandi Burruss with her Kandi Cares initiative’s grocery pop up event. 

Kandi explained the mission of the event and thanked her friends for their support in a September 13 Instagram post, writing, “Yesterday’s @kandicares grocery pop up was amazing! Thank you so much to my @goodrco family that helped organize to make this event a success! Also thank you to my RHOA fam for coming and making this event even more special. We were able to help so many families and that made my heart smile.” 

Porsha also opened up about the event while urging her followers to make a difference in their own communities, as well. 

“I’m always available to lend a helping hand to those in need. Great day yesterday teaming up with Kandi Cares to stand in the gap for those who have fallen on hard times during this pandemic,” wrote Porsha. “Take time to give today. Also my family’s charity @4hosea is also feeding people who are in the struggle right here in Atlanta as well! Donate to both today @4hosea and @kandicares…there are enough families in need so we need all hands on deck! Be the change you want to see!” 

Kenya also reflected on the day, writing, “@Kandicares was amazing today!! Thank you Kandi for allowing me to be at your service and share in your giving spirit.” 

“Yesterday we did good,” wrote Tanya. “Yesterday I rolled up my sleeves to help @goodrco @kandicares and @kandi @jasminecrowe to provide over 550 Atlanta families with so much healthy and nutritious food. Literally filled up trunks with fresh fruits and vegs, meats, chicken, breads, milk, pantry and snack goods! Count your blessings and thank goodness for amazing organizations out there doing good. Happy to be a part of this.” 

“Thanks @Kandi for inviting us to be apart of such a good cause for @kandicares,” Marlo wrote alongside a photo of herself with Porsha and Tanya. 

Marlo also helped Kandi out before the event, as the pair went to pick up additional groceries. 

“My girl @marlohampton got up early this morning to meet me and some of my @kandicares and @goodrco team to get extra produce for today’s grocery give back. Thanks for the support!” Kandi captioned a photo of she and Marlo at a farmer’s market. “I can’t wait to meet all the families today that this food is going to.”
