Cynthia Bailey Shares the “Thirst Trap” Photo that Won Mike Hill’s Heart

Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill are spilling more details about the early days of their relationship. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her husband opened up about how they first began dating in a recent episode of OWNtv’s Black Love, revealing that it all started with a sizzling “thirst trap” photo.

In a brief clip posted on August 1, the couple, who have been married since October 2020, explain how they reconnected after originally meeting as a set-up on Steve Harvey’s self-titled daytime talk show. “I almost didn’t talk to Cynthia ever again because she really just ghosted me. And then she went to Mexico…and this is how she got me. She went to Mexico, and then she threw up a little thirst trap picture,” Mike explained, adding that the steamy pic pushed him to reach out to Cynthia once again.

Cynthia later took to Instagram to share the “thirst trap” in question. In the cute photo, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 1 cast member can be seen posing on the beach in a black string bikini.

“May 4th 2018. so this is the black bikini THIRST TRAP picture that @itsmikehill was talking about on @blacklove @owntv!" she captioned the photo, going on to add, “Personally i don’t think i was “thirst trapping” in this photo since it was hot, i was on vacation & on the beach! what was i supposed to be wearing lol!”

She went on to conclude, “Anyway, this photo got his attention & although he was mad at me ( for [ghost]ing him) & was done with me, he had a change of heart & called me. the rest is history.”
