And Dennis shared a sweet moment from his hangout session with his kid on Instagram, captioning the photo of her, “Best New Years date... Happy 2023.”

Dennis and PJ have been spending a lot of time together this holiday season. He also recently shared a photo of him and PJ in matching, well, pj’s. The father-daughter duo snapped a photo together rocking the same holiday pajamas and looking festive. PJ shared the same photo and captioned it “Merry Christmas” with the hashtag “Daddy’s Girl.”

Days before, Dennis shared a video of PJ behind the piano and opened up about the moment, writing, “PJ loves [piano]. She’s finally taking her lessons seriously but when the coach isn’t here she is just in freestyle mode. But watch out [Alicia Keys], [PJ] is coming.”

Dennis co-parents PJ with The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Porsha Williams. In an interview with The Daily Dish back in 2020, Dennis opened up about his life as a dad, noting that taking on the role has taught him “patience. Time waits for no man, however I’ve re-learned what investment means… It’s helped me to look in my own mirror when I set goals.”

As for what his dad philosophy is, he added at the time, “I think every dad wants to be a good dad, right? Nobody wants to be a bad father. So with PJ I’m learning that she’s independent — she doesn’t like to be picked up, she doesn’t want you to feed her, she plays by herself. So I’m excited to allow her to make her own decisions, to grow in her own individuality. Right, so my philosophy is this is my kid now, but one day she will be someone else’s leader! I’ll help her connect those dots over the next 20 years.”
