Did Porsha Williams Just Reveal Her Wedding Date? She May Have Dropped a Major Clue
The RHOA alum revealed on Instagram that she and fiancé Simon Guobadia might be getting married sooner than later.
Porsha Williams might be nearing the end of planning her wedding to fiancé, Simon Guobadia. The proof? The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum dropped a major hint about their wedding date in an August 30 Instagram caption — and it’s sooner than you might think.
“Looking for tailors to make Nigerian Asoebi here in Atlanta before October,” Porsha captioned a series of photos depicting the traditional family wedding uniform from Simon’s native country. So it looks like an early fall wedding could be right around the corner.
One detail she already took care of several months ago, however, was selecting her bridesmaids, including RHOA's Shamea Morton and her sister, Lauren Williams, among others. “Yesterday I asked a couple of my sisters to be bridesmaids!!” she captioned an April 25 Instagram post. “They said yes and we partied all day.”
Though Porsha took a small break from wedding planning to film Peacock’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 in Thailand this summer, they didn’t miss a beat planning a date night upon her return. “Reunited [and] it feels so good!” the RHOA alum wrote on July 31, alongside a photo with her husband-to-be at a Kendrick Lamar concert in Atlanta.
Ever since the couple confirmed their engagement in May 2021, they’ve shared several details about their future wedding plans. Just weeks after Simon proposed, Porsha revealed on a May 2021 DISH Nation episode that she and Simon were planning three different celebrations across the globe. “He’s African, so we’re going to have a native law and custom ceremony and a regular wedding, and then we’re going to have another wedding at one of the houses that is out of the country,” she revealed at the time.

Despite the logistics of planning three celebrations, the couple doesn’t seem to be stressing too much. Sharing a couple’s photo from a night out at Atlanta’s Aria restaurant on August 21, Simon wrote that they were “still rocking and living [their] best life."
