Marlo Hampton Addresses a Recent Breast Cancer Scare: "Good Vibes Only"
The RHOA pal opened up about her own health scare to shed light on Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Marlo Hampton confirmed that she had a breast cancer scare while shedding light on October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The RHOA pal shared a photo of herself in a bright pink dress to celebrate the cause while also addressing her own health scare.
"Good Vibes Only. It’s October 1st, the first day of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Earlier this year I had a small scare, thank God I followed these steps," she wrote in the caption, before sharing with her followers her personal advice: "Get annual mammograms after the age of 40. Do daily self checks on both breast at home. Make a doctor's [appointment] if you think you feel something. Be proactive about your health, take charge."
Marlo, who has experienced a difficult 2019 after losing her brother, Curtis, in March, did not further elaborate on her own health situation from earlier this year, but did note these hashtags in her post: #breastcancerawareness and #healthylifestyle.
