The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Marlo Hampton confirmed that she had a breast cancer scare while shedding light on October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The RHOA pal shared a photo of herself in a bright pink dress to celebrate the cause while also addressing her own health scare.

"Good Vibes Only. It’s October 1st, the first day of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. ⁣Earlier this year I had a small scare, thank God I followed these steps," she wrote in the caption, before sharing with her followers her personal advice: "Get annual mammograms after the age of 40. Do daily self checks on both breast at home. Make a doctor's [appointment] if you think you feel something. Be proactive about your health, take charge."

Marlo, who has experienced a difficult 2019 after losing her brother, Curtis, in March, did not further elaborate on her own health situation from earlier this year, but did note these hashtags in her post: #breastcancerawareness and #healthylifestyle.
