Phaedra Parks’ Ex-Husband Apollo Nida Is Married

Apollo Nida is officially a married man (and he has been for a few months now)!

The 44-year-old, who shares sons Ayden Nida and Dylan Nida with his ex-wife, Phaedra Parks, secretly wed Sherien Almufti, a real estate investor and developer, on October 14, 2022. Apollo posted photos from the wedding on the Instagram account for his entertainment company, HD Promotions. He wore a blue suit with black accents, while his bride wore a white one-shoulder dress with a midriff cutout.

The newlyweds confirmed the news to TMZ on January 12 and shared that they tied the knot in an “intimate ceremony with close family and friends” in Atlanta. Apollo’s mother, father, and brother were in attendance, as were Sherien’s sister and her daughter. 

Per the outlet, Phaedra, an alum of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and her sons knew about the wedding, but they did not attend.

As fans may remember, Apollo and Phaedra split up in 2014, around the time he was sentenced to eight years in prison for conspiracy to commit wire, mail, and bank fraud. Their divorce wasn’t finalized until 2017. 

Sherien and Apollo, who have known each other for a decade, became engaged in 2016 while he was in prison. Apollo was released in 2019 after serving five years of his sentence. 

Though he and Phaedra divorced, Apollo maintained a friendship with her close pal, RHOA’s Shereé Whitfield. He even appeared on the RHOA Season 14 finale, which aired in September 2022, to walk in the fashion show for SHE By Shereé.
