Who Won Celebrity Big Brother Season 3? Find Out How Cynthia Bailey Did in the Finale
After making it to the final three, did The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum take home the top prize?
After 29 days of intense competition, including plenty of strategy, backstabbing, and OMG moments, the winner of Celebrity Big Brother Season 3 was crowned on Wednesday, February 23. (There are MAJOR SPOILERS ahead!)
Cynthia Bailey made it to the final three, along with Todrick Hall and Miesha Tate. But after Miesha won the final Head of Household competition of the season, she decided to take her ride or die Todrick to the end with her, choosing to evict Cynthia right before the jury voted for who among the top two would take home the $250,000 grand prize.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum appeared to be in good spirits as she exited the Celebrity Big Brother house and spoke to host Julie Chen Moonves immediately following her eviction. "I cannot wait to see my husband, my family, my children — everyone! It's been the most amazing experience of my life, and I honestly feel like to even make it to the final three, that I won," Cynthia reflected on her Celebrity Big Brother experience during her interview with Julie. "I conquered my fear of heights. So many things happened in this house. So, I didn't win, but I felt like I won."
Cynthia's husband, Mike Hill, and her daughter, Noelle Robinson, 22, appeared remotely during the Celebrity Big Brother finale to cheer her on. Mike later applauded Cynthia's efforts and expressed his excitement over seeing his wife again after several weeks in a post on Instagram on February 23. "You’re the winner of this house, baby!! Super proud of you!!" Mike gushed in the post. "I LOVE YOU!! Come on home."
Noelle also gave her followers a glimpse at her reunion with her mom in her Instagram Stories as Cynthia returned home later that night. "My mom is finally home from the [Celebrity Big Brother] house after not being able to see or talk to her for 5 weeks. So proud of you [Cynthia]," Noelle captioned a series of videos of her welcoming her mom home. "Missed you so so so much... Soo much to catch up on."
In her Instagram Stories, Kandi Burruss, who came in fifth place in Season 2 of Celebrity Big Brother, said that she was "sad" that Cynthia did not come out on top this season. "Cynthia, you did a great job making it to No. 3, OK?" Kandi said. "And I'm proud of you. You did an excellent job."
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, who was the first celebrity houseguest to be evicted in Season 3, also showed her support for Cynthia in the lead-up to the finale, sharing a video of daughter Slate and son Cruz rooting the RHOA alum on in her Instagram Stories.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum also shared some behind-the-scenes video in her Instagram Stories from her return to Celebrity Big Brother to cast her vote for the winner as part of the jury on finale night.
Following the vote by the jury, which included, Cynthia, Teddi, as well as their fellow evicted celebrity houseguests from this season (Mirai Nagasu, Chris Kirkpatrick, Shanna Moakler, Carson Kressley, Lamar Odom, and Todd Bridges), Miesha was ultimately named the winner of Celebrity Big Brother Season 3, taking home the $250,000 grand prize. As the runner-up, Todrick received $50,000.
However, the Bravo family did not leave completely empty-handed. Carson, who Bravo fans know from Queer Eye's original Fab Five and Get a Room with Carson & Thom, was voted America's Favorite Houseguest by viewers, earning him $25,000. "I'm thrilled. Thank you so much for your support," Carson said after the honor was announced. "And I'm gonna donate a significant portion of this to my charity, True Colors United."
After that wild Celebrity Big Brother finale, it definitely seemed like the houseguests had a lot more to discuss. And Andy Cohen is here if the celebs ever want to talk about it. "Wish I could do a reunion #CBB3," he tweeted on February 23.
You can still catch Cynthia on your screen by tuning in to the Peacock original series The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip as it encores on Bravo on Tuesdays at 9/8c.
