Dorit Kemsley Gushes About Her Kids as She Shares Sweet Updates: "It's a Joy Being Their Mom"
The RHOBH cast member opened up about the latest news on her "little munchkins," Jagger and Phoenix.
Since fans first met The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Dorit Kemsley several years ago, it's always been clear that family comes first. That means she's always looking for opportunities to gush about her two kids, as well as husband Paul "PK" Kemsley.
And Dorit was definitely in proud mom mode during a recent interview with Bravo Insider in which she shared an update on what her kiddos have been up to these days.
"They're still little munchkins, but Phoenix was just a few months old [when RHOBH started] and they've grown up with it, so the audience has obviously seen them grow," she shared during a recent interview with Bravo Insider. "And now they're so fun and, you know, we're able to play and they're little people with big personalities and they're funny and smart, and such a joy. They're doing really well."
In fact, it kind of sounds like Phoenix, 5, and Jagger, 7, are a bit like mini Dorit and PK in the personality department. Dorit agreed, adding, "I definitely think that they’re a nice combination of the two of us, for sure."
As Dorit explained, she is all about her kids expressing themselves. "I mean, I encouraged them to have their individuality, and I've always spoken to them like little adults. There's certain values that are really important, family being one of them, and manners," she said. "They're just really great kids. They're polite and kind and thoughtful and funny. It's just a real joy being their mom."
Fans know that Dorit is not only a proud mom, but she is also close to her entire family, who are scattered throughout the world. During her conversation with Bravo Insider, Dorit also discussed the ways she's keeping in touch with her loved ones, using all sorts of different ways, including social media and technology when they can't physically be in the same place as one another.
"Most of the family — well, PK’s family [is] in the U.K., obviously, but all of my family, they're outside of California but here in the U.S., and [products like the interactive projector and video-calling device] Amazon Glow is such an incredible device," she explained. "As we go into 2022, I've really resolved to stay connected with extended family all year round, because like you said, we're living through this pandemic, and every time we turn around, you don't know what's around the corner. And most of the time, it's the realization that you don't know when you're going to see your extended family because they may not be able to travel."
So, she is making sure to stay in touch remotely with her family members when they aren't hanging out IRL. And she definitely wants to make sure to do enough of that this year. Dorit continued, "I want to stay connected, and family's really important to me. And it's important to me that my kids, you know, understand the value of staying connected to their family."
We think they've gotten the message:
