Elton John Has a Message for One of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
We finally know what the music legend thinks of RHOBH after being at the center of the drama in Season 12.
Elton John has been at the center of the drama on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and now the music icon has something to say about the show.
In advance of the May 18 episode of RHOBH, John and his husband, David Furnish, took to Instagram to show their support for Diana Jenkins, who made her debut on the show Wednesday night. “So, Diana, thank you. Good luck tonight. We love you so much. Thanks for all your support,” John said in a video of him and Furnish, shared on Diana’s Instagram. “And we’ll be cheering from a long way away.”
John and Furnish sent their love to Diana all the way from England. “Thank you, my darling,” Furnish also gushed in the video. “We can’t wait to catch up and see it soon.”
The clip ended with a kiss from John to Diana, who captioned her post, “I am [Elton and David’s] favorite [Housewife] already. Jealous much? Lol.”
John also posted the video in his Instagram Story, which was re-shared by Furnish. “Congrats [Diana] and thank you for all your support of [Elton John AIDS Foundation],” John captioned the video in his Instagram Story. “[David] and I look forward to catching up on [RHOBH] soon!”
Kyle Richards pointed out while re-posting the video in her Instagram Story that John and Furnish can stream RHOBH on Hayu in the U.K.
Of course, we’ve heard a lot about Elton John on this season of RHOBH after Sutton Stracke claimed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last year that she invited Lisa Rinna and her husband, Harry Hamlin, to one of the singer-songwriter’s galas, for which she said she never received a thank-you. Lisa has disputed Sutton's claims, and the two still didn't see eye to eye as they tried to get to the bottom of it all — receipts included — during Harry’s 70th birthday party on the May 18 episode of RHOBH.
When asked to weigh in on the matter, given her connection to the gala, Diana expressed that she didn’t feel like the back-and-forth between Lisa and Sutton was appropriate. She then shared why the gala means so much to her in an interview during the episode. “As it turns out, I am very involved with this charity. I have been made sponsor of this charity event for a very, very long time. Elton and his husband, David, is a very good friend of mine,” Diana explained. “That charity is something that is very, very close to my heart. It’s very personal.”
Though Lisa and Sutton never really came to an agreement about the origins of the invite, they did ultimately resolve to move forward, sealing their reconciliation with a hug.
This past March, Diana and several of the RHOBH ladies attended the much-talked-about gala, which was sponsored by Diana’s lifestyle drink company, Neuro. “Thank you beautiful ladies for coming and supporting me and [Neuro] and [Elton John AIDS Foundation] in raising money for this important cause,” Diana captioned a couple of photos from the night on Instagram on March 28. “Well done [David and Elton] and everyone else who worked hard on this great event and thank you everyone who donated money dressed up showed up.”
