Ready for It? Kathy Hilton Shares a Major Update About Her Family
The RHOBH grandma got real about her family, and we can’t get over what she just shared.
Aww! Kathy Hilton is gushing about her family and we’re here for it.
Specifically, the Hilton matriarch is opening up about her newest grandkid. After Paris Hilton became a first-time mom last month, Kathy is now revealing more about little Phoenix.
“From Paris to Phoenix, home is where the heart is and my [heart] is right here with these two,” Kathy wrote about her daughter and her newborn grandson, Phoenix, alongside a photo of the three of them together. In a previous post, Kathy wrote, “My husband Rick and I are so overwhelmed [and] filled with joy to share our newest grandson, Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. We are so thrilled for Paris [and] Carter [and] look forward to all the happy memories we will make as a family.”
Prior to opening up about her special role as a grandmother to Paris’ first child (Kathy, of course, is already a grandma thanks to her other kids Nicky and Barron), the 90210 mom shared a message for her eldest daughter as she embarks on this chapter in her life. “Happy Birthday Paris! We are so proud of the amazing, dynamic woman you have become. This will be your greatest year yet,” Kathy wrote. “Being a mom will complete you as it did me.”
Paris confirmed that she and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed a son via surrogate last month. “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” Paris told People at the time. “We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
In addition to updating fans on her life as a grandma, earlier this month Kathy also shared some feelings about her marriage to Rick Hilton, giving a rare look into their life together. “My forever Valentine, luckiest woman in the world,” she wrote in a post timed to Valentine’s Day.
In an interview with The Daily Dish in 2021, Kathy opened up about her family and life, including all the roles she’s had in it, and revealed what she would tell her younger self.
“I would say, ‘You’ve had a really, really exciting, fun life, and keep on keeping on, and there’s much more to come.’ And I always say, ‘Oh, I want to do this when I grow up.’ I always have dreams and things that I want to do. And I am a Pisces, so I have this kind of little fantasy of things I want to do,” she said. “I like crafts. So I’m always thinking of the new wreath that I want to make or the new art project I want to make. Or how I can improve my life and the people around me, my friends and my family.”
