RHOBH Newbie Crystal Kung Minkoff Drops Season 11 News After Her First Cast Dinner
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is no stranger to Los Angeles. Here's what she thinks of her new friends so far.
Crystal Kung Minkoff is gearing up for her first season as a ‘Wife! Following her very first dinner with the rest of the ladies, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer recently opened up about how she’s getting along with her fellow cast members, and even revealed a few exciting details about her personal life with Bravo Insider.
In the video above, Crystal shared a glimpse of her house while she explained that although she’s new to RHOBH, she’s no stranger to Beverly Hills.
“I’m actually from L.A., born and raised from Northridge. Life in Beverly Hills is actually quite different from what I thought it was growing up in the Valley. It’s definitely an aspirational place,” she explained. “My mom would take us to the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Beverly Wilshire to see her friends for dinner, and we’d have to get dressed up, and people really do that. But there is a big side, which I am part of, that’s very casual and down to earth, and it’s really just a place where you live. It’s just a zip code.”
Crystal went on to explain that although she’s a California native, her family also has roots in China, where both of her parents were born.
“My brother lives in Shanghai, and my husband, Rob, and I have a place in Beijing as well,” she said.
So how is Crystal handling her spot as the newbie in the group? Check out the video, above, to see what she had to say about which women she’s already made a strong connection with, and what aspect of joining the RHOBH crew has been the most intimidating so far.
