Erika Jayne Reveals She Was Second-Guessing Her Las Vegas Residency for *This* Reason
The RHOBH cast member revealed why one part of the rehearsal process made her "cry."
Erika Jayne is still betting it all on blonde — even though there was a moment when she second-guessed placing her bet.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member just opened up about her "heaven-sent" Las Vegas residency which is called, you guessed it, Bet It All on Blonde, and why she's "nervous" to take the stage. Read on for details.
Erika Jayne on the Emotions of Her Las Vegas Residency
The "XXPEN$IVE" singer's Las Vegas residency kicks off soon on August 25, and the gravity of the "dream come true" show is officially setting in for her.
As she told Entertainment Tonight, Erika became emotional when she saw the mock stage that was built for her in Burbank, California.
"I started to cry because it was real," she said about seeing the mock stage for the first time. "You know, you can rehearse in a dance studio for so long, with tape on the floor, but then I saw it built out and I thought, oh my god. It's actually happening. And then when I saw the billboards, I kind of was like, 'Oh no... I have to do this show! What have I gotten my...' I literally — there was a hot second where I was like, 'Uh, what have you gotten yourself into, ma'am?' But, it's all good."
Though Erika experienced a moment of self-doubt, she went on to refer to the experience as an "absolute blessing." She also shared that she's "going to enjoy every moment on stage."
"This is an incredible moment for me, a rebuilding moment. But, yeah, I'm nervous — but good nerves, good pressure," she said. "Not like the pressure that I've had."
Erika Jayne's Preparation for Her Las Vegas Residency
Back on July 21, Erika let her followers in on her Bet It All on Blonde rehearsals.
"I can't believe the time has arrived,” Erika wrote on Instagram. "Today we start working on my [Bet It All on Blonde] residency. I am so excited to share with all of you the magic we are creating!"
In a series of Instagram Stories, Erika revealed that she was auditioning singers, and she tagged a few of the dancers she will be working with on the show.
She also shared a photo with her "dream team," including her creative director, Mikey Minden (who has appeared on RHOBH before), and Kevin Teasley.
