The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 is coming back for another slice, and we couldn't be more excited. As a result, we're celebrating with merch inspired by a now-famous Season 16 moment that we'll rewatch any time it pops up on our timelines. That scene, of course, is Heather Dubrow reading her text to Shannon Storms Beador out loud to her husband Dr. Terry Dubrow.
In Season 16, Episode 4, Heather writes a "save-your-apology" text to Shannon following a disagreement. The text is thorough, which is another way of saying it's long. Heather stopped by Terry's office to talk the situation through during his lunch break. This included reading their messages to each other word-for-word to keep him in the loop.
Terry listened carefully, and was primed to offer thoughtful feedback. The thing is, he couldn't quite find the right moment. Each time he was ready to agree with the sentiment, it turned out that Heather had only reached the end of the sentence, and not the end of the text overall. As a result, there's an unintentionally awkward-slash-funny start-and-stop convo about the whole thing.

As Heather finished reading the first part of the missive, Terry began to reply "It seems to me that—," but the text continued.
"Well," he started again, during the next place that his wife seemed like she was stopping. She was not.
"Right," he chimed in after the next segment. Then he switched to nodding his head in a show of support. We love an active listener! And a text that says it all. Healthy communication is key, people.
Ultimately, Heather told Terry, she felt unless Shannon "took accountability" for the tension in their friendship, she would not be able to "move forward" with her. Her terms, in the text, were very clear.
If you ever forget said terms, we have them printed here in full. It's the ideal tote bag for Bravo fans who may need to remember how to use the word "adjudicate" in a sentence when they're on the go.
