Here's What Really Went Down Behind the Scenes of That RHOD Salsa Prank
Here's what Kary Brittingham, Tiffany Moon, and Kameron Westcott had to say after a prank retaliation went too far.
The ladies of The Real Housewives of Dallas love to prank one another, but when they took a girls’ trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma, one of their tricks went a little too far.
To retaliate after Tiffany Moon and Kameron Westcott set off a “fart bomb” in the room she was staying in, Kary Brittingham took the prank war to a whole other level by filling their beds with salsa. “If you’re gonna prank me, you better expect that you’re going to be pranked back,” Kary said in an interview during the episode, adding, “It’s not a big deal. It’s just a little salsa and tomato juice on that side of the bed.”
Kameron, on the other hand, found the stunt to be quite disrespectful. “Kary crossed the line. Now, if it was Cheerios, OK, we can pick them up, it was funny, let’s move on. But this is like vandalism,” she said. “This is my extreme limit. Like, when I don’t have a bed anymore, and I have no place to sleep. Yeah, you’re going to get a pretty pissed off Kam.”
Although Kary insisted that the prank was harmless in the moment, she eventually changed her tune. She later added, “I definitely think I overreacted last night. Obviously, when I was doing it, I was thinking that I was messing up Stephanie’s trip and so I spent all last night doing laundry, cleaning up, so today looks like nothing happened.”
Kary reflected more on her behavior from the Oklahoma trip in an Instagram post, writing, “I have definitely learned a lot and I’m so thankful for my friendships that are helping me become a better person and not abandoning me through my hardest times.”
Kameron also took to social media to address the trip, which included another prank in which Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond snuck up on the group while wearing Bigfoot costumes, writing, “Unbothered!!! Nice try to get the Queen of the Pranks you Bs!”
Tiffany also shared a closer look at the damage done to the bedding after the salsa was poured all over it in a video in which she can be heard saying, “Someone had a really bad night.”
