We may be only a few weeks into Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Dubai, but the drama is bubbling over.
And while it’s usually the cast that finds themselves in the midst of the action, during the June 22 episode it was Caroline Stanbury’s main man, Sergio Carrallo, who discovered the meaning of Housewives tension. When Caroline and Sergio dropped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, they were asked about Sergio’s being friendly to the ladies at the C’est La Vie party.
WWHL host Andy Cohen asked, “Were you pissed at Sergio for cozying up to the women at that party?” And Caroline responded, “I was really pissed, because he’d known the history of me going through so much with these women, and he was over there holding their hands, discussing what a beautiful heart they have.”
And when Andy noted he was likely trying to bring “peace,” Caroline replied, “He was, but sometimes you need to pick a side and you need to follow your wife blindly.”
Sergio said he heard about his behavior “a lot” following the party from his now-wife.
The June 22 episode also put a focus on how the couple is trying to figure out their next steps in terms of expanding their family (you can check out the conversation in the clip above), and Caroline revealed an update on where the issue stands today and where they are in their plans to have a baby.
“I don’t want to be the oldest mother in history,” she said, confirming that they have “a fertilized baby. We do have an embryo. Yes, I’m going to carry the embryo.”
While the decision has been emotional for the couple, it’s also been emotional for their family, including Caroline’s three kids from her first marriage, Yasmine Habib, Aaron Habib, and Zac Habib. Caroline’s daughter has been less than enthusiastic about becoming a sister again, but Caroline shared on WWHL that “she’s allowing it as soon as she moves out to go to school. She said yes, but my sons have come around.”
In addition to their baby plans causing a buzz, their age difference has also been a hot topic, and Chanel Ayan recently commented on that when she appeared on WWHL earlier this month (clip below). Caroline shared her response to the comments on Wednesday’s episode of WWHL.
“She knows nothing about my marriage, never has. She has never been a part of it, and anyone who’s followed me for as long as they’ve followed me has seen that before the show even existed, Sergio arrived,” she said. “I don’t know what else to say. I’m sure there are a lot of older women who would quite like to have an intern marriage, so if you could tell me what that would cost, I’ll make my friends know.”
Looking for a little more insight into all things Caroline and Sergio, including how they met? We’ve got your back. The couple spills all in the WWHL clip below.
