Lesa Milan Says She Has Receipts on Some RHODubai Drama — and They Involve Caroline Stanbury
The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member also responded to Stanbury’s shade about her husband and home.
Nina Ali’s friendship with Caroline Stanbury has caused a bit of a stir during this season of The Real Housewives of Dubai. That’s because Lesa Milan claimed that Nina had said some unrepeatable things about Caroline — which she then ended up repeating anyway in an interview on RHODubai (clip above).
But when Nina appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last week, she set the record straight on those alleged comments about Caroline. “Those words are not part of my vocabulary,” Nina said during the WWHL After Show (clip below). “I didn’t even know what ratchet was. I was like, ratchet, I’ve heard that in a song before?”
So when Lesa stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse on July 20, a member of the virtual audience wanted to know what it was, exactly, that the Dubai Housewife heard about Caroline. “Listen, I heard a lot of things. And I know Ms. Nina came on here the other day saying that she didn’t say half the things I said she did,” Lesa shared. “But that’s what reunion’s for! We drop the receipts!”
Lesa had more to say about Caroline during Wednesday night’s WWHL After Show, sharing her response to her RHODubai castmate’s shady comments about Lesa’s husband, Rich, and their home. “I don’t feel like whatever her opinion is really matters,” Lesa said of Caroline, in part. Speaking of the reunion earlier in this episode of WWHL, Andy Cohen later asked Lesa during the After Show how she was feeling as she prepared to head into her first sit-down. “I’m really excited, to be honest,” Lesa said. “I’m gonna use it as a therapy session, because I feel like our friend group, we need a lot of therapy and a lot of fixing.”
That’s an approach that works, according to Andy, who said that Lesa would be following in the footsteps of an iconic Housewife. “Well, let me tell you something: That is how Cynthia Bailey approached it every season. She was one of the few Housewives who actually looked forward to a reunion,” Andy explained. “She would say, ‘I’m excited. I do it as a therapy. I hope to resolve stuff.’ That’s actually, I think, a really good attitude.”
