The Miami housewife reveals how Frankie is doing after a traumatic car accident four years ago.
These days, Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria is able to celebrate the little things following her son's, Frankie, traumatic car accident back in 2011. And to show off how well he's doing in the nearly four years since it happened, she headed to Instagram to post a video of the teen playing a little basketball.
"Sharing a bit of my happiness with you all this morning!!" she wrote. "@frankierosello #Blessed #MiraclesExist #Health #Fitness #Summer #PaceHighSchool #BasketballCamp."
In August 2011, the then 13-year-old was in a car accident that left him in a Pediatric Intensive Unit for three months and later in inpatient rehabilitation for an additional three months. Frankie was recently a part of a groundbreaking ceremony at Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was treated following his accident. Last month, on Mother's Day, Alexia reflected on her two sons, noting that being a mom is the "most difficult title in the world yet the most gratifying."
"Life holds some gifts and surprises...... and by far the greatest gift , blessing and accomplishment in my life has been these two boys !!" Alexia wrote. "I am so proud to be your mother. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers."
