Dolores Catania Shares Just How Close Her Kids Are to Caroline Manzo’s Kids

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania and Caroline Manzo aren’t the only members of their families who are thick as thieves. As it turns out, Dolores recently shared with The Daily Dish that her children are incredibly tight with Caroline’s children.

“So, Caroline has the nicest kids in the world,” she explained in a phone interview with The Daily Dish several weeks ago. “Her kids were always the kids that took the little ones under their wing.”

Caroline’s three kids are a few years older than Dolores’ two kids, and while the five of them are all grown up these days, Dolores noted that they remain close.

“So, little Frankie was always with them all the time. And she has such good kids, even to their little cousins, and you know, my kids call her Aunt Caroline,” she noted. “And Chris and Albie are always in touch with Frankie still, and I talk to Lauren all the time. They consider us [family] and me an aunt to them. Caroline and I are like sisters.”

In fact, as Dolores noted, she and the RHONJ alum were “very close … before Housewives,” and no matter what, Caroline has been an important part of her life. “I have always looked to Caroline for advice on things, and even at times where we’ve gone a while without talking, I will just reach out to her or she’ll reach out to me for something,” she said. “But no matter what, it’s always pick up where you left off, like you saw each other yesterday.”

And yes, for the record, sometimes the topic of The Real Housewives comes up: “We talk about it. You know, it became a part of our lives.”

The two have definitely been sharing some sweet moments from their friendship with their fans as of late. They not only recently appeared together on E!'s Celebrity Beef but also ran into each other last month at BravoCon 2022 in NYC, bringing some Garden State sass to the Big Apple (check out Dolores’ photos to see their sweet snap together, below).
