Ashlee Holmes Malleo Shares an Update on Her Life and Co-Parenting with Her Ex

After she hadn’t “posted anything new” on Instagram “in months,” Ashlee Holmes Malleo decided to let her followers in on what she’s been up to in her life today.

Ashlee, who is the eldest child of The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jacqueline Laurita, posted a video on Instagram on March 19 that showcased what she’s been doing lately. (Hint: It involves spending plenty of time with her loved ones.)

“I haven’t posted anything new on here in months lol — Just checking in with ya,” Ashlee captioned her video post, addressing her nearly 270,000 followers. “I’ve set some goals for the rest of the year, and I’ve been taking the time to get things in order. I’ll be back soon. In the meantime, here’s a teeny tiny glimpse of what the last few months have looked like.”

The makeup artist, who shares 6-year-old son Cameron Hendrix Malleo with her ex-husband, Pete Malleo, didn’t reveal exactly what her goals are for the year, but she did share a glimpse at what it’s like to co-parent with her ex, as her video included footage from when the family took trips to the arcade, bowling alley, and trampoline park. 

Ashlee noted that her life has been “VERY low key” lately with “lots of family time.” She added that she “got a new car” and accompanied her son to “plenty of birthday parties,” and that the two have been “hanging out at home” and “going to church” when they’re not feeling under the weather.

Ashlee also said she’s been putting “A LOT of focus” on her mental and physical health in 2023, because “overall wellness has become the number [one] priority over here.”

While Ashlee’s life has been “low key,” her mom has been busy “reconnect[ing]” with Teresa Giudice.

Jacqueline and Teresa, who were close friends before they had a falling-out on Season 7 of RHONJ, reunited for a “[five] hour lunch” in Las Vegas with their husbands in February.

“Ever since [their meetup], I’ve been on the phone with my mom, and she’ll be like, ‘Oh, hold on, Teresa’s calling. Let me call you right back,’” Ashlee told Page Six, adding that the two are “talking all the time.”

Though Ashlee was skeptical at first about her mom’s renewed friendship with Teresa, she now understands that the ladies have a lot in common and had a lot of catching up to do.

“I believe in growth. I believe people can change and grow. Otherwise, what’s the point?” Ashlee continued. “As you get older, it gets harder to change, but I do believe it’s possible.”
