Joe Giudice Reveals That Gabriella Got Her First Job, and What She's Doing Makes So Much Sense

The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter is going into an industry that involves glamour, glitz, and a whole lot of cake.

By Jenny Berg

Get ready for this news: Gabriella Giudice is officially a young professional. In a recent Instagram Story, her dad Joe Giudice shared a photo of his daughter all dressed up for her first day of work. "Gabriella['s] 1st job." The Real Housewives of New Jersey pop captioned his post. And don't worry: He didn't leave us guessing. "Wedding planning," Joe wrote. Say no more!

This job makes perfect sense for Teresa Giudice's daughter. After all, she grew up in a household where over-the-top Palermo Bakery cakes are par for the course, and where every milestone is met with a lavish fete. (Teresa is one of the few who would hire a bubble dancer for a casual housewarming party by the pool — and we love love love her for that.)

Plus, let's not forget: Teresa recently tied the knot with Luis "Louie" Ruelas at a wedding that spared no expense — or white flower. Along with her three sisters and Louie's kids, Gabriella played a role in the ceremony. This means that she had a front-row seat to one of the glitziest weddings Jersey's ever seen.

Indeed, event planning runs in the family for Gabriella, and she's already dressing for the job. For her first day, the New Jersey teen looked perfectly polished in a white top, a black cropped jacket, black flared pants, and black pointed-toe heels.

Gabriella doesn't just have a new job. She's also (maybe) headed to a new state. Back in January, Teresa shared an Instagram post to announce that her daughter had been accepted to the University of Michigan

“I knew you would [get accepted],” Teresa said to Gabriella, who was holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers in honor of the occasion. “I love you so much.”

The future member of the Class of 2027 is already feeling the U of M pride. Teresa's posts also showed Gabriella wearing a T-shirt from the school and clutching blue and yellow star balloons. (Blue and yellow are the university's signature colors.)

If you're thinking: How could Tre's little girl be headed to college already? here's a quick reminder of how time flies. Back in October, the newly minted wedding planner celebrated her 18th birthday. In true Giudice family form, there was a fabulous party to mark the occasion.

The birthday girl and her three sisters — GiaMilania, and Audriana — celebrated at a restaurant with additional family and friends. The gang feasted on surf and turf, pasta, and more. The Giudice girls huddled together for a sweet snapshot in front of Gabriella’s cake, which featured a blue and white design.

Based on her recent news, it's safe to assume there will be more cakes in Gabriella's future!
