How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

He made them during a special episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen at BravoCon 2022 after his wife, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga, was asked, "What do you think will last longer: Joe’s stand-up career or Luis and Teresa’s marriage?”

"I’m gonna answer the question,” Joe said. “My stand-up career, baby!”

Looking back at the diss during the latest episode of her Namaste B$tches podcast, Teresa said, "That’s not my brother. Like, I don’t know who he is now [or] what kind of character he’s trying to play."

"I was hurt by it. Luis was hurt by it," she continued. "I mean, as everyone saw, he did not come to my wedding. That hurt us. And by what he did at BravoCon, that's very mean-spirited, very sad."

In addition to appearing on WWHL at BravoCon 2022, Joe also spoke on an RHONJ panel. Of Teresa, he said, "I’m just hearing in the press that she says there’s no fixing our relationship. She is the older one in our family, she’s my older sister, and whatever she says goes. I’ve done everything right, I really have. I respected her, I loved her, I respected Louie, and my wife has respected her.”

He continued, “And we’re all about family. And she’s making the decisions. We’ve watched it, we’ve learned on national TV, she made all the decisions. And every time you hear it in the press, we hear it in the press. So there’s no hidden agendas here.”

Teresa later responded to Joe’s claims in a panel of her own. "Every day there’s something new that my brother’s saying in the press," she explained after a fan question mentioned Joe’s comments. “Family shouldn’t be acting this way. Right now, I just got married, I’m focusing on my children, I’m focusing on my husband."

She echoed that sentiment on her podcast. "I just wish that he would stop talking about us to try to make himself relevant," Teresa said, adding that anything else she has to say on the matter will be revealed at the RHONJ Season 13 reunion, where "there's gonna be a lot of things addressed."
