Dolores Catania Reacts to Teresa Giudice Appearing on DWTS: “She Always Comes Out on Top”
The RHONJ cast member reveals all about Teresa appearing on Season 31 of DWTS.
ICYMI: Teresa Giudice is just days away from making her debut on Dancing with the Stars. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member will be strutting alongside pro Pasha Pashkov and trying to shimmy her way to victory. And you can bet she has a cheering section all lined up back in the Garden State. Dolores Catania recently chatted with The Daily Dish and revealed her reaction to her longtime friend showing another side of herself and appearing on DWTS.
“Is she a good dancer? I wouldn’t say she’s a good dancer, but [what] I will tell you is Teresa can do anything she puts her mind to,” Dolores told The Daily Dish about her friend’s upcoming gig, in which she will compete to take home the Mirrorball Trophy. “So whatever she is [doing], she will be her best at it. She’s always been. Leave it to Teresa, she always comes out on top. And she’s practicing right now, actually.”
In fact, her dance partner shared a little footage of the pair in rehearsals.
Dolores, as it turns out, is a big fan of ballroom dancing and has been for years, noting that she loves everything from the costumes to watching the dancers themselves, calling professional female ballroom dancers “beautiful” and “stunning” when they grace the dance floor. “My mom has begged me for probably 30 years to take lessons,” Dolores said. “And I think it’s really good because you have to work your brain. You have to remember the moves. There are so many moving parts to it.”
Since confirming she’ll be dancing on Season 31 of DWTS, Teresa has felt the love and support of her daughters and ex-husband Joe Giudice, as well as her new husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. She’s also received support from Jennifer Aydin and The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan on Instagram.
DWTS Season 31 will also include the following celebs: American Idol’s Jordin Sparks, The Bachelorette’s Gabby Windey, Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino, RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Shangela, The D’Amelio Show’s Charli D’Amelio and Heidi D’Amelio, Selma Blair, Trevor Donovan, Daniel Durant, Cheryl Ladd, Sam Champion, Wayne Brady, Jessie James Decker, Joseph Baena, and Jason Lewis.
Tyra Banks will co-host the new season with Alfonso Ribeiro. Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will be back as judges.
